I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. I continued my studies and completed my Certification of Paralegal Studies from St. Mary’s College. Since then,
I have been blessed to raise three successful and ambitious daughters with
my husband in Orange County, CA.
As a Human Resources professional with over
28-years legal experience, my focus is in contracts, franchising and employment law. I have 15 years of Human Resources experience at an executive level, working with established companies such as LINE-X LLC, The Leggett Group Inc., BookPal, and Seat Concepts as well as start ups including Du Vin Crush, and Speak It To Book.
Thompson Professional Resources provides guidance to organizations in all facets of Human Resources including setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals, so you can focus on what is important - the growth and success of your business.

Our new company's launch wouldn't have been as successful as it was without Carol's legal guidance and support.
- Nancy Nelson and Lara McKenna,
Co-Owners
Carol created the Employee Handbook for our company. With moving from California to Idaho, she made the transition of implementing state laws specific to our company seamless.
- Amy Smith, Co-Owner
An Employee Handbook. It sets the tone for the organization detailing and outlining important information from the company’s mission statement to its policies and procedures and dispute resolutions.
From onboarding and training to discussions and evaluations, documenting the successes and failures of an employee not only helps in the growth of the employee, but also assists in the overall improvement of the organization.
